EDC Gold, also known as Easy Cash Daily was founded in 2006 by Craig Garcia an
Michael Corcoran and at the time of this review has generated 14 million in sales.
EDC Gold offers a variety of software and digital products such as eBooks and private label rights material and claim that their library of products is valued at $125,000, which is a substantial amount of products that can be marketed in bundles or individually.
The quantity of products is around 2,500 or so which is pretty impressive.
The quality, I'm not so sure about, but you can get a free trial membership if you want to take a look around the system and decide for yourself what you think of the product value and how it might perform as a home business.
There are four levels one can join at to start to earn and they are,

EDC Gold $997, monthly subscription of $49.95
Easy Daily Cash which cost $297.00, $39.95 monthly admin fee
Your New Fortune $69.95, monthly subscription of $0.00
EDC gold is what is called the Australian 2 up plan. That means that your first two sales go to your sponsor.
First off when you are just starting out and invested a few bucks, it really hurts to give all of your commission to the guy above you. Let's be honest, it will take at least a few weeks for you to get your feet wet, take in some training and make your first sale.
The next problem with this type of compensation plan is that after you've made your sale, there is no benefit for your sponsor or coach to help you grow your business. In fact, most look at is as direct competition.
EDC gold recently added some residual income to their compensation which is only a few dollars per sale. You'll make $15 residual income for each EDC direct sale, $25 for each EDC-Gold sale & $50 for every EDC-DIAMOND sale. I don't think this will add up to much at the end of the day, but every bit helps.
EDC Gold appears to be a fairly stable company and has been around for a few years with some decent success stories. However it is not one of my favorites mostly because of the compensation plan.
With any of these home businesses, be it EDC Gold or any of the others, find something you believe in and someone who will honestly coach you and show you how to grow your business. An honest, educated, coach will do wonders for your business and cut your learning curve in half.
Did you notice I used the term “Coach” instead of “mentor”?
The reason I do this is that most of the dishonest people running scams have labeled themselves as “mentors” in order to get you to sign up for their “mentoring programs”, which they then charge huge amounts of money for, and deliver nothing that can’t be found for free. As such the term “Mentor” leaves a nasty taste in my mouth and I prefer to use the term “Coach”.
